This work is not scheduled but tentative plans are to complete the project during the summer of 2027.It was suggested that we leave the portable projection screen up for the summer, because it is very difficult to set up and take down, and there may be some opportunities to offer “Movie Nights” for community residents who are here doing the summer months. Keenie, from building 11, unit 217 agreed to keep the projector for the summer. It was also suggested that we sell our current portable screen and replace it with a retractable one that would hang from the ceiling beam near the kitchen. Club 2180 has agreed to cover the cost and installation for the new screen.Pool and recreation: Robert Pickard reported that one of our pool pumps needs to be replaced and also a recommendation that we refinish our water retention tub (currently flat) to be slanted which would allow sediment to run down through the filters. Barefoot Pools will be replacing the pump in the next few days. It was also suggested that we change our pool cleaning/vacuuming days from Monday and Friday to Monday and Thursday. Robert Pickard will follow-up with Barefoot Pools.Shuffleboard: Cal Knol reported that we still have a few people playing but daily use will be ending soon.Lawn/Landscaping: Cal Knol reported Mike Tober has reinstalled the irrigation pipes and planted 30 Sea Grape plants, along our back fence line near the shuffleboard courts.
