President’s Council Minutes for November 11, 2025
The Meeting was called to order by Robert Pickard at 7:00 P.M.
Roll Call was taken by Leann Vander Woude revealing enough for a quorum.
There were no representatives from buildings 2,8,12,14.
‘The Minutes of April 8,2025 were made available and with motion by James Carreau seconded by
Edward Campagnuo16 to approve as presented. Motion carried;
Treasure/s Report: The financial reports for Months April thru October were handed out along with
completed spreadsheet by Leann Vander Woude. After review and a few inquiries a motion was made
by Lynn Anderson and seconded by Pat LaBarre to approve the. reports as submitted. Motion Carried.
Clubhouse: The air Fryer/toaster oven for clubhouse came under discussion. Robert Pickard reported
according to the new fire marshalthe oven that was removed could have been grandfathered in. After
discussion was completed , a vote was taken and all in agreement to purchase air fryer/toaster oven.
The maximum cost to be 5200.00.
Bingo: The report given to Helen Marino by Cal Knol , Bingo would begin January 2O26. Mr. Knol is the
caller and no other volunteers are available to start earlier.
Craft Club: The Craft Club meets every Monday morning 9:30 -12:00.
Lawn/Landscaping/Grounds: Fresh Start Maintenance scheduled for 2 times per.month. The fence
will be checked for any openings to allow access. New camera was installed on west side of clubhouse
by pool and also covers the grill area.
Club 2180: No report at this time.
Webmaster: Nothing to report at this time. Mr.Sills did question if a face book page would be
something to look into. Helen Marino is stillworking on the Telephone Directory for Lakeside Point
Gardens. She is waiting for one last building to submit info.
Old Business: Nothing to report at this time.
New Business: Nothing to report at this time.
Community Comments: Kay Branagan questioned the lack of privacy in womens’s bathroom. Could one
stool be removed ? Mr. Sills did check out the bathroom and concluded doors could not be installed.
There is a lock on the entrance door to the bathroom which can be used.
The question of Handicap access for bathrooms would be very costly and is not required.
Thanks to Jimmy Neilson for his work at painting the picnic area.
Robert Pickard did report a resident of Bld #12 stated he was shocked in the pool and reported the
incident to City of Lake Worth. The inspector came and closed the pool. Robert hired an electrician to
check all bonding and grounds and after City of Lake Worth received all information the Closed sign was
removed. lnformation regarding the resident of Bld #12 is that he has a Defibulator and may need to use
caution when entering a commercial pool. Discussion led to placing an additional sign at the pool
regarding this issue. Discussion led to agreeing the existing sign of Swin at Your Own Risk is sufficient.
Mr. Sills suggested putting in our documents info regarding caution when using pool if have defibulator
installed. lt was stated adding to documents is costly.
Ed Campagnuolo asked if our insurance renewal had been received and was told not as of this date.
Lynn Anderson stated all Buildings should have cameras installed in front and back of building. lt was
reported Bld.#l has 3 cameras.
Robert Pickard reported not seeing any sheriffs car on Lake Osborne for some time but has seen park
Rangers.
Lynn Anderson is waiting for more information regarding the installation of speed bumps on Lake
Osborne. This could eontrolthe speeding on the road.
The next President’s council meeting is Decembe r 9,Zezs at 7:00 p.M.
